CEASELESS SORROWS (by Tiwalade Fayinka)

I opened a door and saw;
a room with full fledged ;
sorrow hung over it;
I stepped in;

I stepped into the room and saw;
a girl with puffy red eyes;
and streams of salty water;

flowing down her cheeks;
I searched her body and found;
crimson red liquid trickling down;
her legs, from her opening ;
I looked into it;
I looked into her heart and saw;
violations and defilement;
Her dignity being snatched;
I investigated;
I investigated her defilement;
I saw a man she respected;
From whose loins;
she came to this world;
I opened him and found;
Sheer lust and desire;
for his own offspring;
Images of her stolen dignity;
I cried for the girl.
